Germany's development minister said Friday the Group of Eight member states had agreed on a program worth more than $60 billion to combat the spread of HIV/AIDs in Africa.
"That has been agreed upon," Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul told state ZDF television, ahead of talks between the leaders at the G-8 summit in the northern German resort of Heiligendamm.
